Export consignment check-in procedure

We will arrange for the check-in of your export consignment through the CSA subsidiary, Air Cargo Terminal. Shipments are accepted for transportation no later than 210 minutes before the regular departure time of any given flight (for flights operated by A310ís up to 240 minutes).

For Equation shipments, the time limit of 90 minutes remains effective, however, from 1 December 2006, such shipments have to be booked 180 minutes before the departure of the flight.

First, contact the Air Cargo Terminal - Tariffs department and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We would also like to point out that before the consignment is accepted for air carriage, it is necessary to complete the "Instructions for Issuing an Air Waybill" form, stating in it the address of the consignor, the address (and telephone number, if applicable) of the consignee, the routing requested, data on the payer of the freight charges, the type of goods, and certain other particulars. It would be a pleasure for the Air Cargo Terminal - Tariffs personnel to assist you with completion of the form.

After this your consignment will be taken into storage room, where its weight, dimensions, and the integrity of the package will be checked. If all data stated in the instructions for issuing the air waybill correspond with reality, the form will be certified, and on this basis, the Air Cargo Terminal Tariffs department will issue you an air waybill. The air waybill will contain freight charges and other charges based on the dimensions and weight of the consignment.

Freight charges and other charges may be paid immediately at the cash desk located at the Air Cargo Terminal Customer Centre. Then, a certified copy of the air waybill should be returned to the Tariffs department. The consignment is then put in the export storeroom and is ready for delivery.
